Now Get Out There and Vote!

If you don't vote, you can't complain about the outcome, and for the bloggers amongst you, that'll eliminate at least 50% of your material.

For those beyond the borders, grab a bottle of your favorite, pull up a chair, and enjoy the world's biggest soap opera, paid for by someone else's taxes.

Update: Been there, voted contra-Kerry as advertised. (BTW, to participate in an experimental bloggers' poll, see here at Technorati. Scroll to bottom of page for HTML snips to insert.)

No lines at our polling location in suburban San Mateo County, shared by three D majority precincts. No electioneering, no challenges, no exit pollers. Same as usual. I informally check turnout by looking at the ballot counter on the mark sense reader box, since we go about the same time each election. By that measure, turnout was heavier than the 'Arnold election', but not significantly different than 2000.
